INTERNATIONAL

A simple, but fun swap. You will have ONE (1) partner, whom you will send ONE (1) card of buttons and atleast 30cm of ribbon. Along with that package, you will send ONE (1) tea bag.

This means you'll get nice things for crafting, and something to drink while you work! Just because it is simple, however, doesn't mean you can send a card with a button missing, or stained ribbon etc. Spoil your partner -- get her/him her/his favourite colours!

Requirements International. 4.6 and up. No more than 2 no sends, unless it is with unfair circumstances. Please message me in these cases. NEWBIES WELCOME but only with a completed profile. And I don't mean a few words here and there, I mean paragraphs!

Any questions or suggestions can be posted below or messaged to me. :)

What do you mean by a card of buttons? Can I send a little bag of buttons?

user6740 06/12/2007 #

With the cards you sew to your clothing, they come on cards, most of the time. I always find them on cards in my fabric and craft shop. If you can't find any like that you could either sew them to a peice of card yourself, or ask your partner if a bag is okay :)

I find quite a lot of non-carded buttons. But a card usually holds 5 or 6 buttons, right? :)

Some do, yes. The cute ones (sunshines, little flowers, animals etc.) sometimes only have 3, though. Most of mine have 3 on them. :)

Thanks!

You could get matching ones and sew them to a piece of cardstock, if you like. But if you decide not to, sure ask your partner :D

Have a question. How much is 30cm of ribbon? Here in the States we only go by inches or yards of something.

eek! i'm so excited :D

@catlover i just went to the fabric store - and the guy at the counter had to find a conversion chart, but it turned out to be 1/3rd a yard. i ended up getting a yard just encase it was more - because 1/3rd a yard didn't seem much!
