Brighten someone's day! (Light-weight int'l swap)

You don't have to send a huge package to brighten someone's day! In this swap, you'll send things that are light-weight and that might fit in an envelope to keep postage costs down. One letter or card, plus one other thing of your choice.

You will send the following to one partner:

• A card or letter to brighten their day. What to write in it? Maybe a funny story to make them smile, a compliment, some encouraging words about what's going on in their lives, a quote that never fails to make you smile, or anything else you can think of that you'd like to receive in a letter/card.

• Something else that you think will cheer your partner up, based on his/her profile. This should be something small and light-weight, such as an ATC, a pack of stickers, some buttons, a drawing, embroidery floss, nice papers, hairclips, a couple of tea bags etc. Please note that it should be something your partner likes. You only have to send one thing, although you may of course choose to send more (or send something heavier/bigger) if you wish.

If you are mailing internationally please check customs regulations before sending. It shouldn't be an issue in this swap, but there are often restrictions on food items. Also please make sure the envelope is sturdy enough to withstand a long trip! Padded envelopes are usually a good choice if you're mailing something other than paper.

WHO CAN JOIN?
To be able to participate, you must have a rating of 4.8 or higher. If you have any 1's you must have successfully completed (and been rated for) at least one snail-mailed swap since then. No recent no-sends unless you have a good explanation.

Newbies must have a substantial profile (to give the sender something to go on) AND must have logged in during the week prior to the sign-up deadline (not counting the day you became a member of Swap-bot). If you already know you will be away for that week, send me a message before signing up for this swap.

NOTES FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS:
Please make sure there is enough information in your profile for your partner to send you something suitable!

Sending extras does not automatically equal hearts. Please give out hearts for effort/thoughtfulness rather than the amount of stuff - this swap is not about monetary value.
