Dollhouse Linens n Things

Every homeowner needs blankets, rugs, towels - you know - "linens n things". For this swap you will create two miniature items for two partners.. You may create a rug, blanket, miniature quilt, towels and wash rags, etc. Something in the linens category that every "household" needs. Yes, even mini households!

You may use whatever medium you are comfortable with. If you are more comfortable working with paper and paint, then you might want to create a painted rug on water color paper or canvas. If you like to crochet or knit mini items, then go for it. Certainly sewing and quilting are acceptable. I'm trying to leave this "creatively open" so that you can work with whatever you are comfortable with. One idea might be to buy a wash cloth from the Dollar store, cut it into towels and wash rags. The edges would need to be stitched so that they wouldn't fray.

I'm sure there will be questions and I'm certainly OK with revising this, if needed.

Again - you create two items for 2 partners. That's 4 items. I believe it would be OK to create two rugs, two blankets, etc. as long as they are not the same design.

FOUNDER'S SUGGESTION--Ask your partners if they have specific colours in their dollhouses or roomscapes---that way, whatever you make will fit in their house! :)
