Thank you for your 'non restrictions' on this swap. . . it is so frustrating (and I think rude) when I see a PC swap that is supposed to be a fun swap and then people start adding comments about what tey want and how they want to receive the PC even when the swap description has stated it is an 'anything goes' naked swap. . . folks that have certain preferences shoud either (1) not join an anything goes swap, or (2) host their own swap but shouldn't put their own specifics on someone ekse's swap.

I just love to send postcards and love to recieve in the post I feel I have been around the world, I have some lovely cards and pleased with them all, gonna watch and sign nearer date.

A note to the new swappers =please read this= if you have no completed swaps, then you do not meet the 4.5 rating criteria for the swap. You have plenty of time if you are presently working on swaps to get some ratings in but please note that by the time partners are assigned you do need to have some completed swaps on your profile so that you meet the ratings requirement.

Ive been collecting postcards since I was little, I dont know why people are so picky, I just love giving and recieving postcards. It takes all the fun out of swapping when people start to get picky:-)

I'm restating this again for the new swappers with no ratings as I'm seeing a number who have joined the swap. To participate in this one, you must have completed some other swaps with ratings on your profile by the time this swap starts on July 17th with an average of at least 4.5 or you will be removed from the swap per the rules listed above.

Are these supposed to be sent naked or in an envelope? I'm new to postcard swapping and am unsure of which we are supposed to do here? I don't mind sending either way, and I've already joined, I just want to be sure I do the right thing.

I was recently also directed to my local hallmark store.. sometimes they have postcards.. if you have one of those when you go into the city you may be able to find some there or at the link I posted above to purchase some online.

I have my postcards ready to send them out. Anxiously awaiting........... lol

I live in Florida where postcards are relatively easy to find, but to my surprise I found some really nice ones in our main grocery store!! I thought that was unusual even for touristy Florida. This time, mine are form the zoo.

I have found postcards in grocery stores, wal-marts and the mini-marts where there are gas stations. I guess they cater to the tourists. LOL

Please note:

For those people that I have to remove prior to assigning partners, it was based solely on compliance with the above requirements. If you don't have ratings, then you don't meet the requirements. Please understand this is not personal, and I will definitely host another of these swaps in the near future.

Well I did send all three of my postcards. Diana in England received hers but the other two here in the states have not said anything yet. I would like to say that if you did not receive a card from me, PLEASE let me know and I will resend.
