Description:

I am keen to try making inchies using Shrinky plastic. Please join me. We will make 4 Shrinky Inchies for our partner. Design is senders choice. Remember if your Shrinky is a little on the small side you can attach it to an inch square base.

I am sure that I don't need to remind you that if you do join this swap I would appreciate it if you did not flake on your partner, that you rate the person who sends to you and most importantly, the send by date is NOT a suggestion but a requirement of the swap.

So do join and have some fun!!

also watching. I should tell you my only qualification is that I actually own a package of shrink plastic. I have not even tried to make anything from it yet.....I think I have read the tips in the forum.

lilaeburg you are going to get hooked. This is such a fun medium to play with. It can be used for all sorts of embellishments. You can stamp, draw or colour in on it.

How big should we make it so that it shrinks down to an inch?

VJP 06/24/2009 #

Most shrinky will shrink down by at least 50%. So, to get an inch I make it about 2.25 inches to start.

I start with a piece 2.5 inches by 2.5 inches, it really does depend on the brand.
