Description:

I am really enjoying doing ATCs and since I'm a Christian, I thought it would really be great to do one with a Christian theme. This is the first time that I've created a swap so bear with me! Anything Christian is fine. Jesus, scriptures, churches...you're free to put on it anything as long as it follows the theme. Remember that a sticker on card stock isn't enough, so use your imagination and have some fun.

I'm going to be on vacation until the 18th so I'll answer any questions after I get back!

Newbies are welcome after they have been rated for a few swaps. Must have a good rating or PM me to explain.

Great idea! Is it one card to one partner?

KathyG 06/18/2009 #

Yes, just one. Sorry to take so long, but I just walked in the door.

i love to do some atc cards but i dont know how to do it could you let me know to make then please

Well, it's kind of like a sports trading card except it's homemade. It's 3.5X2.5. You can go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artisttradingcards & here: http://www.cedarseed.com/air/atc.html to see the specifics. The second one has lots of pictures with some instructions too. Hope that helps!

Could this be Old Testament stuff or must it have to do with Jesus? I'm a Christian but recently was inspired to make an ATC with the 10 commandments as a theme. I have not made it yet but wondered if it would fit into this category.

You can do anything at all Christian related. It can be old testament or 10 commandments. Kathy

I realized I should have asked BEFORE the final drop date... Or maybe even before I completed it... But at least it's before I send!

Are digital ATC's okay? Computer graphics are my forte... Second only to Facebook in the time-killing category, so it's not like I'm copyiing and pasting something... I make all my graphics from scratch... But if that's not okay, I would not mind sending another that isn't computer generated.

I'd love to hear everybody's thoughts on this, if you don't mind!

I'm really not sure. I do computer graphics as well so I'm not sure that this would work since it would just be like a printed card. I create stationary for incredimail mostly. I really couldn't say for sure since I have never seen a computer printed ATC. I would think that should be between you and your partner. Most ATCs are embellished in some way so perhaps your design with a few extra touches to bring out the artistry of your work. Like I said, I'm really not sure on this one. Making something your partner will enjoy is what's most important so I would say, it would be up to them. I'm sorry that I'm so late in responding, but I'm new at hosting and didn't think to look at comments after the signup date until I though...hmm, someone might be having a problem lol.

Thanks! I sent 2: The one I did on the computer and another one hand-made, just in case.
