Village Fete Raffle Ticket Swap

My Dear Friends,

It is time to think about our Village Fete which shall be held on the 29th of June. Last year I sent out raffle tickets to each of you who joined the Fete Swap, but with postage rates raised to such heights, I cannot afford to do so this year, so I thought we could make tickets for each other for the fete. We will make a pretty strip of four tickets for our partner which will each have a number on them that I have provided and on the day we shall have a draw for the winning ticket.

For this swap, we will have one partner. You will make one strip of four tickets for your partner, decorating in your own unique style. The size of the tickets is up to the sender, but do make them of a size that may be prettily decorated. Here are two videos for inspiration in making the tickets.

Once partners have been assigned, I shall contact each person with the numbers that are to be used for the draw and which should be clearly written on the back of each ticket, using one number per ticket. When you receive your swap from your partner, be sure to keep your raffle tickets handy for the prize draw on the day of the fete.

You may begin making your tickets as soon as you join the swap as I have put a short send period so that all tickets are received before the fete.
