Let's Celebrate My Beddian Birthday! INTERNATIONAL

HOLA!

I was born June 8, 1962 and will turn 62 this year. Which means this is my BEDDIAN BIRTHDAY! Let’s celebrate!

What is a Beddian Birthday?

It is special once-in-a-lifetime occurrence, when someone turns the same age as the year they’re born. It is named for New York firefighter Bobby Beddia, who made the birthday observation and, according to a story in The New Yorker, was thrilled to reach the milestone himself at 53. This swap is the INTERNATIONAL version. There is a separate USA swap so everyone may participate.

To celebrate, we will swap SIX of my favorite things and 2 RAK with our partner (sender's choice for six items and RAK, all may be from this list or add RAK surprises).

You may select any of the following items:

• Something that represents summer
• Something royal blue or pink
• A new blank postcard added to the envelope
• Handmade craft
• Two-Paper napkins
• Empty pocket folder or library card
• Something with pandas, cartoons, Disney or Goofy
• Something New Mexico or hot air balloon themed
• Something floral (yellow roses and daisies are favorites)
• Something bright and colorful
• A sheet of stickers, or ten sticker flakes
• Something that makes you laugh/smile
• Something pen-pally (ex: short letter, stationery, happy mail stickers, etc.)
• A coloring page or a Reverse coloring page
• Personalized address labels (at least 10)
• Please deliver to labels (PDT at least 2)

The items you select may fall into more than one category (for example: a panda sticker or a panda postcard). Please make certain to send at least SIX separate items and TWO RAK items.

Write a short note, and include the date of your Beddian Birthday.

Decorate the envelope with a 62, and some color. (Create something your partner would love to receive in their mailbox!)
