SOHC: Altered Christmas Decor

Make your partner a Christmas decoration using something that was made for a totally different purpose as your base. I know that sounds a bit awkward and vague, so let me elaborate. I made a Christmas decoration that started out as a wooden cookie press. I painted it red and green, added colorful silk sari ribbon and some other embellishments and it turned out as a decoration to use for Christmas or Yule decorating.

The object you use should NOT be so decorated or covered with paint, glitter, etc. that the original purpose of the object isn't apparent. Using my cookie press as an example, I did paint it and decorate it but you can tell immediately that it is a cookie press. I hope I'm making sense as sometimes what is clear to me isn't clear to my husband at all. =) =) =)
