Description:

International, 1 partner, flat mail/cost of one stamp to mail.

I'm resurrecting an old swap I first hosted in this group in 2019! So if it looks familiar, that's why. :) Here we go -

I'm classifying this as a type 3 swap as it will take time to complete, though it will be flat to mail.

This swap will be International and you will have one partner. It should be able to be mailed similar to a letter, though, so hopefully postage won't be an issue, and everyone can join. :)

Sept 22nd is listed as Dear Diary Day and I thought we could do a brief writing swap to mark the day. :) This swap does not need to be sent in a notebook or any type of booklet, you can write on stationery, plain paper, etc, similar to a letter.

Starting after partners are assigned, write a series of 4 journal or diary entries for your partner. You may hand write or type the entries, and each entry should be a minimum of a paragraph, but writing more is always a good idea, right? :) Each entry must include the date and you must include within the envelope or on the first page, the swap title including the group and your swap-bot ID so your partner will be able to easily rate you. Page size should be 4x6 inches or larger. If entry is short, you may include more than one entry per page.

Your first entryshould talk about your experience with keeping a diary or record or your journal writing practice. Some ideas to talk about include - How often do you write? How long have you kept a journal - or been trying to keep a journal? Do you write about your day or do creative writing? Or do you use journal prompts? What do you do when you get 'stuck' and don't know what to write?

Your second entry should talk about a time when either someone read your private thoughts and how you learned that your diary or journal was read. Or a time when you -either accidentally or on purpose - read someone else's diary or journal entries. If you have had your private thoughts read, has it affected how you write or what you write?

Your third entry should be about your experience with journal swaps - either on swap-bot or a similar site, or with friends. You could talk about the types of journals you've made, what your favorite types of journals are, what you think about journal swaps. Do you have a favorite type of journal to swap?

Your fourth entry should talk about what you ENJOY MOST about journaling - either for yourself or for a swap - and what you ENJOY LEAST about journaling. You can include what you do with your journals when you finish them, or what you look for in a note book or journal to use. Do you stick to just writing, or do you add art as well? Or a mix of both?

If you have any questions PLEASE send me a PM and ask!
