For this swap, use a standard Zentangle-sized tile (3.5 inch square). Use cardstock or something heavier than printer paper. It can be any color you want. You can make the tangles colored, black and white, or whatever. It's entirely up to you, as long as you use the required string.

Here’s another String for your creative enjoyment. This one was shared by new tangler, Mirjam Baart from Holland who writes, “I am ‘addicted’ to Zentangle patterns.” I hear a very loud “Me too!” chorus.

Bear in mind that Zentangle® strings are guidelines. You can use them exactly as they are or adapt them to suit as your Zentangle grows. Start with the string as it’s shown then, as you go, combine sections if your tangles want to, or divide a section into smaller ones. Go with the flow and enjoy.

Mirjam’s string doesn’t have a border but you can certainly add one if you like.
