SOHC: Collage

The Webster dictionary definition of "collage": an artistic composition made of various materials (such as paper, cloth, or wood) glued on a surface. With this in mind you will create a collage for your partner, roughly the size of a postcard, or even larger if you like. Use a sturdy base. I like those small canvases that the craft stores and dollar stores sell, but you can use cardboard as long as you cover it. Another great collage surface is a discarded book cover.

Use any supplies and techniques you have available, for instance: paint, markers magazines, old book pages, found objects, natural bits and bobs such as rocks and sticks, photos, game pieces, doll parts, etc., etc., etc. You know, holy crap kind of stuff! =) Include a way to display your collage such as a ribbon or a hook or a small easel.
