BLC Reading Challenge - Pick 1 - #4

Thank you to everyone who has been joining in these swaps! I've been enjoying these reading challenges and hope you are too!

I enjoy being pushed to read a bit outside my usual genres and I know the same is true for other people as well, so I thought I'd post a series of reading challenge swaps.

Each time I'll list 5 challenges.

Pick ONE. Read (or listen to) the book for that challenge.

Then email your partners. Tell them what you read including the author and the title, and which challenge it was for.

Write a paragraph about the book. What was it about? Did you like it? Did you dislike it? Was it already familiar to you or was it a new departure? Would you recommend it as a good read? Anything you like really -- but do write more than a brief sentence.

CHALLENGES FOR SWAP #4 (remember, you only have to read one book -- not all five!)

(1) A book set in Central or South America

(2) An LGBTQ+ themed book

(3) A poetry book

(4) A book that features mythology in some way

(5) A book by an author whose last name begins with 'M'
