Description:
This is a 2/2 swap for all newbies and new to ATC'ers - you are invited to try your artistic hand at making an Artist Trading Card (actually 4 of them:), swapping with two partners, and receiving & posting ratings. This is designed for newbies to get some quick ratings and for anyone who has never tried making an ATC before! Come on in, the water's fine. An ATC is simply an artist created piece of work that measures 2.5 inches x 3.5 inches. Generally they are paper based but I have seen lovely fabric, wood, leather and in one case, ceramic cards. Paper is easiest and lightest to mail:) It is an open theme swap, you will make 2 cards for 2 partners (4 cards total). Please send your best work - work you are proud to sign, originals only, digital is acceptable. Experienced swappers also invited to join this open theme and easy swap. Any ratings accepted but no more than 2 no sends allowed for rated swappers. US and International artists invited. This will be only my second ATC swap. I appreciate the opportunity to be in a newbie swap -- much less stressful! I always try, as you say, to send out my best work in any kind of swap, but if experienced ATCers join this swap, can they remember when rating that a newbie's best may not be as good as a non-newbie's best and to rate kindly (if your partner sends you 2 ATCs that equals a 5)? Thanks!

Help....I used to have a template to make labels for my ATCs, but somewhere in cleaning up my documents I deleted it. I was something I downloaded and could either be printed on a whole sheet or on 2 x 4 1/4 labels.
