I thought it would be nice to make a Mother's Day Dotee in honor of all the mothers out there or even someone who is not a mother. Lets have fun and make these Dotees with something that reminds your partner of their mother, such as her favorite color(s), flowers, etc. Everyone please list your preferences in the comments below so that your partner will know how to make this very special Dotee for you. You will send (1) dotee to (1) partner. And just as an added little extra: PLEASE SIGN YOUR DOTEE DOLL "Mother's Day 2009". You can do this in whatever method you prefer, fabric pens, embroidery, whatever, as long as you sign it. This swap is open to anyone who has 5 mailed and 5 rated swaps with no 3s and no "no sends". I will be checking all profiles and have the right to ban anyone who does not meet the above requirements. If you have questions, please contact me. So, let the fun begin!! My mother's favorite color is light blue, her favorite flower is carnations, she loves hummingbirds and butterflies. Mom loves to garden and quilt.

My mother liked the colors red brown and oranges and flowers. I realized that she is gone now for almost 18 years and my father more than 20 years and I miss them so much. Love this swap Leona

My mother loved red and i love yellow so we complimented each other. =) She also loved wild violets and yellow roses and so do i. I miss her so much!

My mother loved blue and red or pink roses. She loved to sew, make hats and cook. She had beautiful silver hair from the age of 25. I think of her and her soft smile often.

My mother loved hats! She always had a new hat for spring. Colors--I would say any pastel color.

My mother's favorite color is purple. She taught me every hymn inthe hymn book. My dad was in the army so we traveled alot. We would sing in the car as we rode all those miles. I guess music calmed the savage beasts(three little girls). My mother always calls me 'Angel'. I am way past '39' but I still love to hear her call me that. I am blessed to have such a wonderful and sweet mom still.
