Winter @ home

I love winter! In this swap we can share how you spend your time in the winter months. You can tell why you like winter. Do you go out for nature walks in the snow or do you like to stay indoors to read? Do you like to bake cookies and drink hot chocolate milk or tea?

Journal about your winter time and share whatever you like to do in this period. Try not to focus on Christmas alone as there are many swaps about that. Add some pictures. You can print your journal or can write in a flat A4 notebook or loose letter paper. Try to make it something pretty/fun to read. Creativity is encouraged.

Stay safe and think of others. Keep in mind the local rules about Covid-19 like social distancing and mouth masks when you go out, in case you want to write about something outside.

Type/write at least two A4-size pages or 5 A5-size pages (excluding photos) Don’t use enormous fonts or don’t write huge letters. Just a normal font. I don’t like to limit the amount of pages to type, but be reasonable. For most, it might not be enjoyable to read through 50+ pages(A4) or so. :p You can check the length of your swap by typing it first in Word(paid) or OpenOffice writer(free).

You’re swap will include:

• 1 journal with your winter adventure

• 1 recipe of something you like to eat in winter.

• 1 local drink: Make sure it’s good quality and not past it’s due date. Only a factory canned drink, bottle or some hot drink sachets

• Add a local snack: Good quality and not past it’s due date. Only factory packaged snacks.

• (this one is not obligated, but fun for your swap-partner)Folders/leaflets/tickets from local shops, events, museums that you’ve visited. Just remember to stay safe.

• 1 Wellness item: face mask, candle, soap bar, mini shower gel, … store bought

• 1 profile gift. You can keep it cheap, but make sure sure it's good quality. If your swap partner likes it, you can do something handmade.

Check your partner’s profile for likes and dislikes.

Since there are postal issues all over the world, try to send either with tracking or keep proof that you've sent your parcel. Allow for some time for the parcel to arrive.

Swap requirements: Minimum rating 4.98. No unrated swappers or newbies. I will check profiles thoroughly before assigning partners. I can afford to angel up to two people, after you've rated a fair one. But I hope it won’t come to that. Flakers not welcome!
