Description:

I use vintage pcs in my journals as pull outs -- sometimes I make pockets by adhering fabric to the 'writing' side and slipping in a photo or some ephemera...

Forr this swap you will send your partner TWO vintage LINEN PCs!

THEY CAN be previously sent pcs -- or they can be blank - generally these can be found in pretty much any antique store and they cost about 50 cents to a dollar each (USA) and about 1 Euro in Europe -- not sure about other places!

TWO Vintage LINEN Postcards to one partner in an envelope

Linen postcards were printed in the United States from the 1930s until the 1950s. ... Contrary to their descriptive name, linen postcards were not made out of linen, which is derived from flax, but they did have a high rag content, which means the paper contained a certain amount of cotton fiber.

Tuck in a note with your swap-bot ID and the swap name and send it off!

I'll definitely join when I can find a source for linen postcards. Can't believe they're so hard to find here. I called on one of the longest resident dealers of antiques and he didn't have any at his store. Told me he would dig them out of his warehouse but it will take time. Sigh. He did give me some possible other resources. The treasure hunt is on! Lol
