USA: Block Art Doll

This is a USA only swap. You must have at least 15, Type 3 swaps, with no 1's.

In this swap, create your one partner, one 3D art doll, that incorporates a block, in to the design somehow. Any type of block art doll is allowed. Your doll could use the block as the base, or the face, or part of the body, or assemblage, and in many other ways. Have fun creating something special for your one partner.

In addition to your block or blocks, you may use any additional materials and mediums to make your doll. Please make a quality 3D (not flat paper) art doll, that is at least 5 inches long. These should be adult oriented, (these are not to be made for children with craft supplies....no google eyes, stickers, chenille stems, plastic pony beads, etc.) If it looks like it is made by a child or for a child, then this is not the swap for that. Of course, you can choose to make a larger size if you wish. Here are just some examples of different block inspired art dolls:

Art dolls are considered works of art. They are not made to be played with, in general, so feel free to get as creative as you like. Art dolls often have faces or represent people, but they do not have to. Your art doll could feature an animal instead of a person. The art dolls you swap, must be created by you the artist. Please sign your dolls if possible. Your art dolls must be at least 5 inches. No sloppy rushed work, only quality art dolls. Please don't wait until the last minute to start your dolls. Give yourself enough time to make/paint/dry your doll. You may create in any medium as long as you use a block in some way. Also, please wrap/protect your doll when mailing. And lastly, please rate your partner in a timely manner. I recommend using priority mail to ship your art doll, but I will leave that up to you.
