Description:
This is a mix CD swap for people who have actual record collections. I assume that you keep your CDs in a shelve or box or even in some kind of a folder. For this swap you'll start counting your CDs from any point (maybe the end of the shelve) and pick every seventh CD and the seventh track on that CD for your mix. Suppose choosing every seventh CD would only get you half way through contemporary jazz, you can add sevens and pick every 14th, 21st, 28th ... album. On the other hand, if you run out of records, just keep on counting and start over. Just be creative with the sevens! Keep on counting the sevens until you have 15 tracks on your mix. Include a tracklist and names of the artists. You'll have two partners and send one CD to each one. If something is unclear, ask away. This swap is iternational and open for newbies. Anyone with more than two no send or a rating below 3,5 will be banned. Sorry!

would it be alright to put more than 15 songs on this mixie, perhaps 21? (=7x3) :D If not that's cool, I'm just getting a little too excited I think, heh

Wallflowrrr, put as many songs on the mix as you like. On themed mix CDs I tend to think that finding 15 songs that fit the theme can prove difficult. But this mix is a piece of cake, so feel free to count the CDs until your fingers turn to stubs =)

Courtney, the idea is sort of like the shuffle mix with iTunes. If the mix is dodgy it just ads to the fun!

hooray! I'm tempted to make an extra copy of it and leave it somewhere as random of the collection of songs, for someone to find and take home with them, heh thank you : )

Well, maybe it will bring good luck to someone, as it's packed with number sevens. I, on the other hand, would be quite cautious of such album. I'd think it's someones cunning plan to spread viruses to my computer.

Yee Ha! I like a good mixed-up pattern. Takes less time than the considered mix, and still contains a broad variety, I'm presuming.

I say MAHTAVAA! You spelled it just right. I hope we had good wather while you were visiting. It always pains me to see turists in the rain. I feel so sorry for them.

I put up this swap because I sometimes feel that people look for songs in the net. I like to hear a variety of music they really like to listen themselves.

Very excited newbie about this swap. With over 100 cds I'm looking at doing the 7th cd in every row/shelf of one of my cd cabinets. goes off to start working on it. :)

Just finished both of these last night. The first one is... choppy. The second one... is one of the smoothest CDs I've done in months. Seriously. Overall song quality is high, there are a couple truly graceful transitions, certain sounds (radio static, chimes) resurface throughout... Curses! Don't I have to redo it if it's JUST TOO GOOD?!?
