Junk journal For Christmas

Using a little Gold Book, let’s create a junk journal!! These books are plentiful at thrift stores, estate sales and your own homes!! The cover of the book will be the cover of the journal. More embellishments will be needed also. Please use a Christmas Book for the journal. Using the contents of the book create the inside of the journal. You will take the cover off the book, clean up the edges of the book with scrapbook paper or even fabric if you have some. Then decorate the front as you would but leaving the cover of the original cover visible. Then embellish with the fabric embellies we’ve made, all sort of pretties can be added. The inside pages will be full of tucks and pockets and beautifully done papers. We will have 6 pages to decorate (or three folded pages). To attached the covers of the book punch holes 1 1/2” from the top and bottom. Thread together with ribbon so the book will expand easier with the pockets you create. Create the book for your partner as you would like to receive. These do take a little time but are such fun.
