Description:

Okay, this will take a little work and effort on your part. India has many states and languages and I thought it would be nice to learn about some of them. In this swap you will sign up for one state and make 1 postcard for 2 partners. On one side of the card put the name of the state and a picture/symbol/icon representing that state. On the back, three facts such as language spoken (maybe write down one word in that language if you can find one), a city name, famous landmark, anything interesting you find about it. I will list the states in comments. Please list your choice in the comments so we do not have duplicates. Thank you.

Goa I will pick . I saw some amazing photos from a blog and it looks like a very interesting area. One postcard for two people? Do you mean two postcards for each person? Great idea on this swap!

solarts 02/ 3/2009 #

Never mind. We just send the same state that we pick to two partners?

Such a creative idea! On my watchlist until I get a few swaps mailed out this weekend :)

Rbeadhead 02/ 5/2009 #

Yes, 1 postcard to two partners so you will make the same two postcards and send 1 to each partner. Hope that clears it up. smile

I changed the swap from "The Traveling India Shrine." http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/show/29986 Swap with one person not two. Maybe people will join.

Hi, When you mentioned about adding on the card the name of the state and a picture/symbol/icon representing that state. What exactly do you mean by picture symbol icon of the state? The state flag, flower, ? Do we pick all three?

Rbeadhead 02/20/2009 #

On the front of the postcard put either a picture from that state, maybe a god representing that state, or the state flag, etc. Just one on the front is good.
