CPG TECHNIQUE: Tea Stained Notecard - US Only

1 partner, 1 handmade blank notecard using tea stained paper (and a blank envie)

What is a tea stained paper?

• If you are writing on the front, do it before you stain the paper and make sure you use waterproof ink. You can also use printed paper such as book pages; your paper should be heavy weight and porous
• Brew strong tea and let cool, you can use the tea bags or the tea or both!
• Place paper in a rimmed baking tray and either pour tea over the paper or use the tea bags to dab and blot the paper as you like
• You can let dry and dab with the tea bags again for a darker stain in selected areas or open the teabags up and spread the wet tea leaves on the paper
• Let dry and incorporate the tea stained paper on your notecard!

Please embellish your notecard a bit with a sticker, words, or a little something so it's not completely blank but make the embellishment generic enough so your partner can easily use the card. The notecard should be mailable size so nothing smaller than 3-1/2-x-5 inches, as that is the smallest legal mailing size for an envelope in the US. The envie can also be handmade - plain or embellished, that is up to you.

Place your finished notecard & envie in another envie, write a little note to your partner about how this art adventure went, affix proper postage and mail it off!
