Hello Magpies! This swap is fairly simple and inexpensive to mail. Since we are Magpies, we all have those little bits and pieces of collected items we add to our journals. Sometimes you don’t want to actually glue them into your journals, and prefer they remain loose. Whether ticket stubs, a letter, a photograph etc.

For this swap, we will create 2 pockets / tuck spots for our partners journal.

What kind of style should you create? You do not need to go by the photo on the swap or use the tutorial l mentioned. Those are simply “suggestions.” You may have a pocket you already use in your own journal, so feel free to use that method/style.

Feel free to decorate them how you would your own. Ideas of methods/ items to use, but not limited to: stamping, lace trim, ribbon, eyelets, Ephemera or collage.

Don’t over think it. Have fun and enjoy the process.
