Blind Date With A Book

For this swap you will have ONE partner in which you will send ONE book. This is a blind date with a book. So you are setting them up with books you think they would like, not just trying to get rid of a book.

How it works:

1. After partners are assigned go read your partners profile.

2. Choose a book you think they would like based on their profile, or one you would highly recommend. NOTE: If you partner says they don’t like horror...don’t choose a horror book!! Please be considerate to your profiles likes.

3. Write a small note why you picked this book for them. Package the book nicely - after-all it is the first date.

4. Send it off to your partner. You should be able to send it media mail if you are not including toss ins.

Senders, please be sure to read your partners profile. And receivers, please be aware that not all blind dates work out, your partner tried.

If you receive a book from your partner, please leave feedback according to Swap Bot Rules.5 - if you receive a book, even if the date doesn’t go well. 3 - if the swap does not meet the requirements or is sent late without explanation. And 1 - if you never receive the swap.

I do not put a rating requirement, but I do check every profile prior to assigning partners. You will be banned from the swap if you have more than two 1s or 3s in the last year. You will be banned from the swap if you do not have 10 type 3 swaps completed. You will be banned from the swap if you do not have a few sentences about the types of books you enjoy, or favorite genres, but don’t be so specific it is hard to pick books for you, either.

If you feel like you have to be ultra specific about the books you like, then this is probably NOT the swap for you. Happy Reading.
