i looooove flat goodies! :D

can we post dislikes and things that would be of no use to us?

ozrob 03/31/2007 #

you can list things that you don't wish to receive and have no use for, yes.

niecedenise 03/31/2007 #

I'm in. I had such a good time last time. I have no preferences at all.

E11enT 03/31/2007 #

Send me anything. I love getting stash items I wouldn't necessarily collect myself. Great way to get turned on to new stuff.

Aerochik 03/31/2007 #

I love everything, if I can't use it I can pass it on!!!

ozrob 03/31/2007 #

Newbies can message me and I will decide if you are worthy to join ;o)

ozrob 03/31/2007 #

If you already have a rating and it is above a 4, you can join.

klissa666 04/ 1/2007 #

klissa666 04/ 1/2007 #

redwing480 04/ 1/2007 #

I just did the other flat goodies swap and it was so much fun. I would love to get anything except for magazine or book pages, I already have more than enough.

ozrob 04/ 1/2007 #

you can use a bigger envelope if you wish

brokeneyeball 04/ 2/2007 #

now that i think of it ..realy, Id love anything.

4getmenot71 04/ 2/2007 #

I really am not too fussy, but I WILL say that I REALLY love vintage-type pictures and such. ;) I appreciate whatever my partner sends me, though!

zanylady 04/ 3/2007 #

I had a great time filling my last goodie envelope up but still waiting to hear if it arrived.

I didn't get one from my partner but willing to give it another go....it was fun to find stuff that matched my partner's profile (she gave a LOT of likes!)

Enjoy.... Marlene

Aw Nimzay was my partner and she got it lol, had to look back in my emails. I have to keep all emails and such cause I forget everything way too easily. I think I'll get a journal and make notes so I don't forget. I've joined so many swaps already. lol Mailed four out yesterday.

user6504 04/ 5/2007 #

I would like anything that I can use for scrapbooking, card making or letters. I really don't have any need for any pages from magazines or books.

Thanks Marylen

Hila 04/ 6/2007 #

I'm in. I sent a really nice package the last time and got ... well... pretty much "Junk". I hope this swap will make me feel better about swapin'.

I don't really have dislikes but PLEASE send stuff i can actually use :)

nylelyn23 04/ 7/2007 #

Ok here's the things that I don't want and don't need: book/mag pages, ribbons, fabrics. And die cuts. Cos I've no idea what they are. lol

I especially love: unused postcards (tourist or non-tourist postcards), stationery, envelopes, photos and greeting cards.

Oh and if u wanna save: i love USED postage stamps. =D And a flat piece of chocolate called LOOK! lol

klissa666 04/ 7/2007 #

i don't like so much japan kawaii but anyway everything it's ok. things that i prefer are scrapbooking things like chipaboard, diecuts, tags, book pages, nice papers and ribbons.

mercurialmagpie 04/ 7/2007 #

I love doing swaps like this! I'm really into vintage stuff so that's my major like. I'm not much into modern or comic/cartoon stuff, but really other than that, I'm pretty open. :)

ladypatg 04/ 7/2007 #

I joined the last one and got only mismatched stationery that wasn't even folded in half properly! Other than that I'm open!:D

3/4 inch deep will probably weigh between 4-6 ounces (113-170 grams). As this is an international swap, I want people to be aware that this swap could cost a bit in postage.

FunToScrap 04/10/2007 #

Please do not send me magazine pages or calendar pages.
A whole craft magazine I might use. I scrapbook, make cards, love stationery, pens, vintage looking tags, fat quarters, ribbons, postage stamps, unmounted rubber stamps and vintage or travel stickers, stickers with words or quotes. You can check my flickr page for a more complete list if you need more ideas. Thanks! Chy

knitagirl 04/10/2007 #

This looks a lot of fun - I wanted to join the last one, but I missed the sign-up deadline :o(

I'd love stationary, especially anything kawaii/kitsch/japanese/sanrio (esp. hello kitty)/cute etc. Pretty papers, stickers, cards, ribbons, postcards of anything arty/funky/cute, pretty envelopes, tags, anything with quotes on, anything knitting related, some scrapbook things (but not loads). Basically if its cute/pretty, then I'll love it.

Please no quilting things or magazine/book pages.

I can't wait for this one!

KarlaKC 04/10/2007 #

I sent a stuffed envie to our illustrious Jenna Perry aka Aloha and of course, never heard from her. I had lots of fun stuffing that envelope.

Unfortunately, I received junk from my partner and it was late. I was really looking forward to receiving for that swap and couldn't believe the advertising postcards I received, the old stationery (70's and yellowed) [I love stationery, though!}, the bent sticker sheet, two wooden embellishments that looked like they'd fallen off or been removed from something (still had glue dot/stain on back), etc. I was told that it was stuff that people used to make ATC's, but considering that I have never joined an ATC swap (see my profile and ratings) and neither had she, I felt it was just an excuse to "explain" why she sent what she did. The envie was still flat and not stuffed at all. It was a major disappointment.

Having said that, I am WILLING TO TRY AGAIN! It's a great swap idea.

Ilovekawaii 04/10/2007 #

Hello,

This is the 2nd time I join in :) The previous one was SO fun!

Here are my likes and dislikes.

I just like everything that looks cute like animal things (young animals), japanese things (sanrio, san-x, crux,...). I love beautifull paper but NO magazine or book papers.. I like stationery, note pads, letter sets, stickers, stamps, decotape, ...

I don't like magazine/book papers, notecards, postcards (who aren't from countries or animals or cute). I love handmade things though, knitted things and such :)

Thank you Sharon

Vlcatko 04/10/2007 #

I am worried a bit about the cost of this swap for me as our shipping rates are a bit high... But I will try anyway and hope I will not be flaked - of all those more expensive swaps I have recieved nothing so far :(

If I am your partner, please do not send any postcards, I have no use for them. See my profile for further dislikes/likes - thanks :)

ozrob 04/11/2007 #

Partners have been assigned, Have fun everyone!! :o)

Tambo 04/11/2007 #

I'd like to get some Kawaii things if possible. I've never had any and would like to see what it's like. Foreign language magazine pgs. would be cool as well. Otherwise, check out my profile. I've got my likes and dislikes listed there. I got some awesome stuff my my partner in the last swap from Tasmania!

knitagirl 04/16/2007 #

Flaflews - type it into wikipedia. that's got a pretty good description. Think Sanrio (hello kitty), girly kitsch, etc...its a Japanese phrase(its mean cute!)/trend.

knitagirl 04/16/2007 #

Robyn, today your package arrived. I loved it all! The stargazer lily stationery and the butterfly scrapbooking squares were my FAVORITE! Of course, I loved all the other things, too! You really know how to pack the envelope! So creative in what you sent. Thank you so much!

I also think I failed to let Tia Bel know that her goodies arrived last week, too. Wow! I loved everything! How creative you were in finding things to send. Some of the items were quite unique.

Thank you both!

Hugs! Karla
