Tie dye is like my favorite thing ever! I love the bright colors and patterns. Do you love Tie Dye to?! If so then you then this swap is for you!! In this swap you will create ONE ATC for ONE partner. The ATC must have Tie Dye included in the design. The Tie Dye can be an accent to your ATC, background or whatever. You have to have Tie Dye somewhere on the card. The Tie Dye doesn’t hafta be the rainbow colors it can be a single color as well, when I think of Tie Dye I think of lots of colors mixed tho. Standard 3.5X2.5 inch size is required and please make sure your completed ATC will fit inside the plastic sleeve of a card protector. Please create a good quality ATC that is made by you for this swap. Do not send someone elses work. Please include the swap name and your Swap-bot ID on your card. If you don’t know what an ATC is then I suggest you google it before you join. Newbies Welcome! No recent (last 6 months) 1s or 3s without a reasonable explanation. Thanks for checking out my swap! Do you mean we should include tie died fabric on the card? Or is there a way to tie die paper?

Can we use paint to create a similar effect rather than using fabric?

@catida you can use fabric or paper anything as long as it is tie Dye!!! @woolandwossit you may use paint just make sure it looks Tie dyed

This is one tricky swap. I tried tie dyeing paper , canvas and cotton. Using cold water dye was a waste of time. It’s best to use the boilable dye. I eventually was successful with 100% cotton voile. I worked with about 2 yards of fabric , using a myriad of colours. More ATCs than I bargain for. Hoping to get one as pretty as the one I made. 😍

Paint could never look like tie dye. Is either the swap specify paint or tie dye. That should be stated in the description of the swap and not the comments. Come on , the coordinator should specify what is needed. Hmm

Hello, why are you so thin skinned because I made two comments. In my first comment I related my experience when I tried to tie dye the different materials. It was done to advise persons . In my second comment it was a a statement of fact. It was not meant to criticize. I joined because I can tie dye .i have completed my tie dye task already , just have to make ATCs with it. 😂😂😂😂
