Over 50 and Proud: Purple and Red

The theme is the famous 1961 "Warning" poem by Jenny Joseph.

Here's some of it:

When I am an old woman I shall wear purple With a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me. And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.

Instructions:

• Use her poem as the basis for your item.
• It should be slim fitting in a regular envelope with regular postage, not a package. That way it stays reasonably affordable for everyone. It can be a postcard (mine will likely be a postcard), greeting card, ATC, your own poem, letter, pocket zine, paper craft, etc.
• It can be storebought or DIY crafted.
• Please add a note to explain your creation and to say hi.
• Don't forget to write your name and the name of the swap in your greetings. ​
