Okay, so this is a swap that has been done before but the original hostess of it has not been online in nearly 2 years and I’ve decided to revive it as it really sounds like a fun swap! I’m so excited to do this swap and hope many of you will feel the same way and will join it.

For this swap you will email your partner the reason you can not send your swap. That's right! CAN NOT! Try to come up with the most insane, outrageous, funniest excuse as to why you might not send a swap! Did you get abducted by aliens? Did the volcano near your post office erupt?

Put some thought into it though! Don't just write one or 2 lines. Really get into it!

To help make it [the letter] longer, you could always start out before the actual “event” whatever it may be that caused you to not be able to send your swap and go from there. Maybe how your day was going and what you’d been doing and then you decided you had best go to mail the swap and then go into why you couldn’t.

OR were there any signs of the event that was going to happen in the days prior to the day you were to mail your swap? Did you see signs of anything and maybe were concerned a bit that you might not be able to mail it? Or did you just see any strange signs at all that were out of the ordinary whether you thought about not being able to mail your swap or not? Detail, my friend … details!
