Description:

Please create an envelope for your partner. The theme is Use Your Newest Products. Whether you shop for yourself, have recently gotten some awesome crafty gifts or rocked the Boxing Day sales, I’m sure you have some new stuff to play with. If sadly you don’t, pull out some stuff in your stash you haven’t used before. (We all have those fun things we’ve hoarded or are guilty of not using yet.) You may also include other mediums, products and techniques as long as the new stuff is the star of the show. Please tell your partner in a note what you used and where you got it.

Please send something small in the envelope. It can be a nice letter, a flat surprise, anything as long as your partner will enjoy it. Even better if it matches the theme. If you only send a note, it should be something far more than the typical ‘this is my Swap. Hope you like it.’ type of note you might normally include with a swap.

Please fill the entire space, except for a reasonable amount of space for the postage and address. (Return address can go on the back in most countries.) The artwork must show time and effort were take. Just a few small images are not enough. Cover the envelope with colour and images. You can also add matching postage making it part of the art! Ask at your post office for stamps other than the standard ones or look for older postage on Etsy or eBay. As long as there is enough postage, you can add used postage to enhance the look.

*minimum size is a standard invite envelope (4.25x5.5”) or a standard business envelope approx 3.75x9”.

*no teacher/reward stickers, pixelated computer printouts or magazine pages (unless significantly and beautifully altered).

*make something lovely you’d be proud to receive and wish you could keep for yourself!

*this is sender’s choice but please respect your partner’s dislikes for instance, don’t add bugs if they hate them or colours they don’t like.

*please have no recents 3s or any 1s without a good explanation in the comments of that swap or send me a note first.

*Please consider hearts for your partner if they made a really nice envelope. Extras are not the only reason to give hearts.

*i will angel once you have PMd twice and gotten no or negative responses and have rated a 1. Let me know if things aren’t working out in your discussions. I’m happy to help!
