CUCrew: Collab ArtBook, Part 1

This will be the first swap in a 3-part series designed to create a collaborative artbook. Each swap will get a set of 4 prompts and we will create a new folio sheet incorporating those prompts. At the end of the third swap we will have 3 folio sheets from different swappers that we can bind into a booklet.

To begin: get a piece of cardstock 5"x7" in size and fold it in half. This will give you 4 pages, 3.5"x5" in size. You will do this with each swap.

Next, the prompts. The following 4 things need to be represented on your pages somehow.

• Time

• Green

• Ampersand

• Elephant

You can put one prompt on each page, double up on 2 pages, use one multiple times and the others once, etc. Just have all 4 present somehow. Treat each page separately as these could get stacked in the end and not be in order together (so a double page spread might get hosed).

The artwork you create on your pages needs to be in keeping with the group style: original cut & paste collage techniques. You're free to use other mediums in addition to collage as you wish.

Send your folded folio sheet to your partner along with some kind of label (loose), such as a slip of paper with your name/username on it or a sticky label - that way when they bind their booklet they can add it to a table of contents.
