MAS: Salmon Run

The salmon run at Adams River in British Columbia has started but in another week the river will be teeming with millions of them - about 14 million salmon coming home to spawn and die.

Every year the salmon come from the Pacific Ocean up the mighty Fraser River and many end up in the Adams River, between Chase and Sorrento close to Sushwap Lake (where Adams Lake ends up), but every four years, there's a gigantic run. This year is one of them.

If you've ever been lucky enough to witness a salmon run (anywhere), you know it's a spectacular sight, especially if it's one of these runs.
