Here is a swap for those of us who love fabric crafts. I'm keeping it simple: sew your partner a flat surprise. Need ideas? How about a patchwork mug rug, snack mat, or pot holder? A lace-embellished bookmark, a zippered pouch for makeup, or a fabric postcard might be fun.

You can use hand-stitching or machine-stitching.

Read her profile for ideas on what to send, and what to skip. Make note of her favorite color, whether or not she reads, wears makeup or cooks, etc.

Keep postage in mind. This swap is international, so thickness and weight are important.

Mail your swap by the send-by date.
