Description:

This is a collaboration postcard and swap. It is similar to our regular Pass and Paste postcards (as it will have rounds), but in this series.......all artists will work on one side of the postcard forming one large collaboration of art. These are some of my favorite mail art postcards.
You can start in at any time. For your first round, you will start a postcard. To begin a postcard, address the backside of the postcard to yourself. Divide the writing portion into 3 or 4 sections, for collaborating artists to write their notes, swap info, user names, etc.
On the front side, the person starting the postcard will add some Art as a base...can be collage, mixed media, painting, whatever. Each following round, the next artist will add 2 or 3 elements, and then pass it on to the next artist for the next round. On occasion you may get a partner whose card you are working on.....Do not send the artist who started the postcard their own card to work on. If this happens to you, simply start a new card, and hold that one till the next round, or you can always send it to me. When all artists have completed the sections on the back, it is ready to be sent home to the original starter.
If you send a card home to the original artist, you may need to start a new postcard to send to your partner.
The postcards can be any size. They will be mailed in an envelope between artists, until the maximum number of artists/spaces is reached, and then it will be mailed Naked back to the original starter of the postcard. The person sending the postcard home will add the postage. The end result is a collaboration piece of art from 3-4 artists. No stickers please.

If you have any questions, just ask.

I would love to see these when they are finished......if you can, please post a picture in our forum. Please remember to put your user names and the swap name on each postcard you send out.

Have fun.

I totally intend to follow-through through many rounds, AND I will send registered. However, sometimes, the swap TO me might not reach within time for the next round. Then I will skip a round. Is that okay?

Yes, you can always skip a round. But, most likely once you start you will always have the one that was sent to you (waiting ahead of the next swap), so you will probably have them ready to go as soon as partners are assigned. However, you can also always just create a new postcard if you don't have one from a partner or if the partner you have is the original starter of the card then you would just start a new one and save that one for the next round. I hope that made sense. ;D

You might as well be prepared to send out a new one as you might get the same person who sent to you, who it goes to or already worked on it.
