Newbie / Get your Ratings up ATC Swap

I will love anything that is made with love. I'm easy to please and I rate fairly. I really enjoy bright colors but pastels (when executed well) are cute too. Kiwi, Strawberries, and Oranges are my favorite fruits. For the open ATC go wild and crazy! I'm ready to have some fun! Whoo hoo!

im just figuring this site out and i really wanna do well on this :) , most of the things i make are very cartoony and japanese style but cute to boot..

I'm looking forward to the swap. Green is my favorite color. Right now I really seem to enjoy soft colors. I'm in Florida so I would love lemons.. I usually ask for dog things too. A cat or a bird or fish would be nice as well. Sparkley works good for me too. It's my first trade so I am excited.

I'm very excited for my first swap! I haven't made ATC cards before, but I think they'll turn out fantastic! I really like kiwis and green apples. Hopefully the nature ATC I receive isn't TOO nature-y (I have A LOT of outdoor allergies). When do we normally get partnered? Is it the sign-up/drop-out date? I'm so excited!

I have never made an ATC. Is there a website that shows some so I could learn what to do. Please do this one again- I do not feel that I have time to do this justice but would love to try it after the holidays. Thanks, Smilingsassycat

Do we make what our partners like ,or our choice of the items??sorry im confused

I'm with smilingsassycat, I would like to learn to make ATC but have never before and would like some more time to do them "justice" as they had said, please make a new one after christmas!

Hi everyone, just to address some questions you all have...

1. Swapbot automatically partners people up so you don't have to choose
2. Usually the day AFTER the date it closes - you will receive an email with the partners link so you know who they are and where to send your stuff to.
3. ATC stands for Artist Trading Card. Look it up on wikipedia for the measurements and ideas. Or look on flickr for pictures.
4. The choice of what you send your partner is YOURS in this particular swap. If you like you can take into consideration what they may like but ultimately the choice is yours to make. If you want to earn a heart, however - make something that you know they will like.

I'm very new to Swap-Bot; I sent out my first swap this morning which also happened to be my first ATC's. I found doing a google image search was helpful to see what is expected of them. From this, I've created my own 'signature card' and also am almost done another series for another swap. I'm looking forward to getting in more practice by completing this one. Swap-bot has so many opportunities!
