CROSS STITCH Skeins

Can we list our preferences (e.g. favourite colours, preferred brand) here?

I mainly use DMC and prefer dark colours (dark red, dark green, dark blue). Varigated/multi-colour floss is a bonus as are specialty threads (as I got nothing from a specialty floss swap last year ;_;).

You can all state your preferrences here, but it's not mandatory to send the requested color or brand...your partner may not have the possibility to find what you "ask" for, and therefore he/she has to send what is considered similar.

I cross stitch!! Truth be told, I've been working on the same project for years, but pick up smaller patterns to work on so I feel like I've finished something. LOL! But floss is also good for other projects. I don't have a specific color needs, but black & white are always good. Variegated is GREAT! DMC is the brand I usually buy.

I'd prefer DMC (any type of thread) or other good quality specialty threads (Caron, Gentle Art, Kreinik). :-)

I don't cross stich, but I do make friendship bracelets. Any colors, any brand. I'm not too particular, but I do love really bright vibrant colors and black as those are the ones I use most frequently and run out of. Surprise me. :)

This is great!! I love this idea, thanks for thinking of it. I use about anything, but have a tendency to do more as Christmas decorations to give out as little gifts for those I work with. It's relatively inexpensive, and most really appreciate the time I put into making the presents for them.

Argh - apologies! I found out today that I'm moving on April 13th. I'm going to have to drop from this swap. I'll be back for a later Magazine swap though!

Oops - cut and pasted too quickly. If another cross stitch thread swap is run after I've settled in my new house, I'll definitely be in it!

I don't cross stitch, but embroidery floss has all kinds of craft uses.

I do cross stitch, I will prefer to try some new floss,no DMC but it's not a problem. I am excited to send it.

Cross stitching started me on my path to crafts so long ago... Since then, I have discovered floss has so many uses for any craft.
