For this swap we will exchange 1 yard of vintage or antique lace and one gothic or creepy or sinister mixed media image created by you (size is open except it should be at least as a large as an ATC). I have a very liberal reading of gothic here. I am thinking along the lines of Edward Gorey, Tim Burton, or even Teesha Moore --but you are the artist, so you decide. As for the lace, the one yard may be composed of various pieces, as long as those pieces each measure at least six inches. Swappers with a 4.5 or higher are welcome. Those below this rating who have good reason for the score are invited to contact me to plead their case! Newbies are welcome.

Two questions:does the lace have to be clack? Also I am having brain surgery on April 26 will we have or partners before that so I can complete my last swap before going into the hospital? If not I will drop from this swap. My family won't send it for me as they think I am a little weird with the swapping.

Hi Aly:

You will have our swap partners addys by April 9th. You can send your items immediately thereafter. Hoepfully when you are back from the hospital you will have some nice lace waiting for you. The lace can be any color.

I think it was a typo and the writer meant black lace. BTW the lace can be any color!

I have sent purple/silver chantilly like net lace and a bit of ecru lace to both my partners, I am not artistic so I am more worried about the "artwork".

Okay here is one more question. I did mean black lace not clack lace. Are we talking about lace trim or lace yardage? I have a lot of both. It's not super old but it looks old. Is anyone going to be disappointed if the lace is not vintage exactly?

I think the look of the lace is important--that it looks vintage. I had imagined we were trading trim lace, but just rec'vd very nice yardage, so it is up to you really. If you have questions, you might contact your swap partner to determine his or her preference on this matter. AP

Did anyone else have "Accidents" as a partner? She is no more so I guess I will only get one. Pixie613 is my other partner and she seems to be behind in her swap. This sucks. I busted my butt to get these out before my surgery. Sorry just venting!!!
