CQ: Mini Mixed Media Junk/Art Journal

You will make a small art journal for your partner - small meaning smaller than 6" x 6". You should aim for 6 - 8 items which will mean 12 to 16 pages to work on. If you plan to alter an existing book, you can glue the pages together to create 12 to 16 workable pages (maybe a children's book from the thrift store or something you have already in your stash.)

You can use tags, lunch bags, other small shopping bags, your gelli-printed papers, a flyer from the grocery store (I'm thinking of Trader Joe's or Whole Foods - you can cut them smaller), maps, ledger/graph paper, book pages or a mixture of things.

You can gesso and paint the pages but leave them "open" for your partner to complete. Add stenciling and stamping, add a pocket or two, flaps, tip-ins, or tuck spots.
