Description:

Practice drawing an animal (pet, wild animal, insect, lizard, fish, bird, snake, whatever). Real animals only, please (e.g., no unicorns). Practice on only one type of animal (for example, you might draw a catfish, a goldfish, a lionfish, and a walleye, but they are all a type of fish; or a black bear, a grizzly bear, a polar bear, and a brown bear, but they are all a type of bear). This is for fun; no one expects you to be awesome at this. Check out my example on my Flickr page if you don't believe me.

Clarification: You will draw 4 different types of the same animal. As the example photo shows, I drew 4 types of fish. You might draw 4 types of birds: cardinal, blackbird, eagle, finch. Or you might draw 4 types of dogs: black lab, golden retriever, great dane, cockapoo.

Use whatever drawing utensils you like (pencil, pen, marker, crayon, etc.).

Put those practice animals on a postcard. Mail the postcard naked (unless you're using a medium that will smear - then throw it into an envelope) to your partner.

Don't forget to include the swap name and your swapbot name so you can be rated.

Recap: draw some animals, put them on a postcard, mail the postcard to your 1 partner.

Questions? PM me, please.

I'm assuming insects fall into "whatever" - unless I get a phobic partner.

Insects are listed as an animal choice in the first sentence, although you might want to give your partner a break if they're phobic. :)
