Can I send a recipe journal as one?

I would really, really like to participate in this swap. But with so many round robins, and so many people being in more than one swap, I just don't want my journals sent to someone in a different swap. Yes, it has happened. If I can talk myself into it, I will join. Thanks for the opportunity to get some journals filled.

Chromia i would love to work on a recipe journal. I wasn't sure if I would join because I didnt want to hog a spot. But gee your recipe journal pushes me off the fence.

Absolutely! @Chromia I too am looking forward to it! @grandmaroro with the round robins within this group, it should be pretty easy to track your journal down if it should go astray. I'll add a note to the swap description though to be sure to label the package as belonging to this swap. You might also be able to add a sticky memo to your journals front or back cover with a note that it is to be circulated for this swap only

ok very new to this and i have a homemade journal that i only did one page in but would love to send it around would that be allowed?

one more question what is the avg size of the art journal that you normally do round robins with?

I'm working on four recipe journals for my four children - I look forward to working in yours, Chromia.. @Babsmomof5 thanks for the response, I have now signed up and am really excited for this challenge. I will admit up front, that I have discovered that the older I get the more doctor appt.s I have. Should I get three journals at once, I may not be able to get them out in the two week time frame. Knowing that, if there are reservations, please feel free to say so.

@bklynfinest77 definitely your journal is fine to send. As to the general size, there seriously isn't one. I have worked on journals in this group that were as small as 4 by 6 inches, and some that were the size of composition style notebooks. One of my recent favorites was belonging to @jinxspinx I believe that had wooden covers and was approx 10 inches tall by 4-5 inches wide. Currently I have one that is 6 by 6 inches, one that is 4 by 5 inches, and two that are 5 by 7 inches circulating.

@grandmaroro I think as long as you are able to complete them within about 3 weeks we should be fine. So,e times you may on,y get 1, sometimes 2-3, and some people work very quickly while others take longer. My main goal was to try to get these all back to their owners by Christmas.

In the blink of an eye, I just about fainted. I thought I had both of Chromia's journals - couldn't figure out where I had put her other journal, and who was Mandy? And why did I not realize that I had two people's journals.

Thank goodness Chromia straightened that out before I read the posts. Such a relief. The thought of losing someone's journal terrifies me.
