Do you read a variety of genres and find gems in each? This is a swap for which we will share recommendations of books in hopes of sharing THAT book that your partner will just love. :-)

This is a letter-writing swap so we will. . .

Choose from THREE of the following categories and recommend one book or series from each of the three. Write about why that rec and what you enjoyed about it (or what draws you to it, if you haven't yet read it). Share a synopsis of what the book is about and write a bit about the protagonist or protagonists. (If you haven't read a book, but really want to, your protagonist info could just include his/her/their name/s - if known - and something important about them. For instance, Claire is a nurse who gets transported to the past and Jamie is a roguish Scottish Highlander.)

Please note that you can share more than one Fantasy book (as a for instance), but that you must also share two books from other categories, too (one book per category). You can also share books from more than three categories, if you would like. (But this is NOT required. So long as you have at least three books from three categories, you're good.)

You do not have to share books you absolutely loved and wish everyone would read. You just need to be able to make a convincing case for why you are recommending that book. (An example: I hated it, but I can understand why it got g-r-e-a-t reviews. . and share the "why," for both why you didn't like it and why you think it's worth reading anyway.)

Recommendations are Sender's Choice but you can look at your partner's profile for an idea of what to recommend.

There is not a minimum (or maximum) page count. The goal is to write a bit about your love for books by sharing info on the books you are recommending. You might be able to fit all that on one page (front and back? if your writing is really small?). If so, that's fine. :-)

Please rate a 5 if you get three recs from three different types. (Say, Historical Fiction, Fantasy, and Mystery; or Non-Fiction History, Health, and Science; or Romance, Science Fiction, and Non-Fiction Sports.)

If none of the recs are of interest to you, maybe that's an opportunity to become pen pals and share your likes in hopes of finding common ground. (But still rate a 5 for receiving what the swap required.) :-)
