This swap is open to international since the postage is pretty low. By signing up for this swap you agree that you will: send fifteen different 5"x5" 100% cotton charm squares of fabric of your choice to 2 partners. These can be hand cut to 5" squares or store bought already cut to 5" squares. mail your charm squares flat before the deadline DO NOT FOLD THEM have fun!! Easy enough? To join this swap you must have a rating of 4.7 or higher with NO recent no-sends. Newbies are welcome with a nicely filled out profile. Quick repeat: 15 different 5" square fabric charms to 2 partners, a total for 30 fabric charms, mail them flat!! This will be an ongoing swap and the colors and patterns will rotate, if there's a color you'd like to see next please pm me!!

I'd like to sign up for this as soon as I'm allowed to sign up for more (currently at my newbie limit). But I'm wondering why we can't fold them to fit in a standard size 42 cent envelope??

Does it matter whether or not the squares are pre-washed? When you buy them commercially they aren't, but I know a lot of quilters pre-wash all fabric before they store it.

they are 5 inch square pieces of fabric. like i-spy fabric squares.

@myhalfofthebrain - I prefer them flat because anytime I've ever received them folded they tend to get bad creases in them that I can never seem to remove. The number has been now been changed from 3 charms squares to 15 charm squares.

@spinjenny - I don't think pre-washing is a problem. As long as the fabric hasn't been super faded or otherwise damaged due to washing that is.

Well I can't wait to see what I get, I will use them for the biscornu's that I make in cross stitching. For those that are not familiar they are 8 sided pillows that are from the size of a scissor fob to a pin cusion to a regular pillow.

Well I received my package in the mail today fromspinjenny! All I have to say is WOW!!!!. So many great squares my biscornu making buddies are going to be jealous let me tell you! What a wonderful assortment of designs.

Some may end up being a needlebook or 2. thanks again Jenny! Can't wait to be able to do another swap!
