USAPC - Celebrate Pen Pal Month

June 1st is National Pen Pal Day. One of those unofficial holidays.

Extending that, June becomes National Pen Pal Month. To celebrate let's make our partner a stationery folder.

Below are several web sites that give wonderful tutorials.

Basically it is a folder with pockets for letter writing material.

Please include;

8 sheets of stationery (bought or make your own by decorating plain paper with stamping images, drawings...even watercolor)

4 envelopes (bought or you can make these too but be sure they will hold the folded stationery sheets you have included)

4 postcards or note cards with envelopes (these do not have to match the stationery sets)

Additional goodies can be stickers, paperclips, a pen, unused postage stamps, bookmarks etc. Anything you think your partner will appreciate.

Another Folder

A much more elaborate idea for those who are adventurous.

To re-cap you will send your partner a stationery folder, 8 sheets of stationery, 4 envelopes to go with them, 4 postcards or note cards with envelopes. + any extras you want to add. Be sure to include a card with your name and the name of the swap.

Since this is not a profile based swap you can start today.
