VTH: Mixed Media Spool Dollies

I was sipping coffee and spending far too much time on Pinterest when I spotted these! I felt immediately inspired and itching to create one. I think the possibilities are endless, and they are so cute!

For this swap, you will be creating one mixed media spool dolly for one partner. This will be a bit more time intensive, so I'm going to give plenty of time.

The only requirement is that you must use a wooden spool somewhere in the creation of your dolly. You can use it for the body or part of the doll, or as the base for a doll you are creating from other things. Other than that, I give you complete freedom to create your little work of art. Use the swap photo as inspiration. Your dolly does not need to be created in this exact way.

Some ideas could be frozen charlotte parts, rusty bits and bobs, old skeleton keys, wire, paper, fabric, inks and paints, clay, vintage jewelry parts, etc. You are limited only by your imagination.

Once your dolly is ready to go, please be sure to package her carefully for safe arrival to her new home. Also include a little note with your swap-bot name and swap name.
