Description:

I've been loving the non-kawaii stationary swaps lately and I thought I'd do a non-kawaii version of my 1 ounce swap. The guidlines are simple. You will take an envelope and fill it with stationery, getting as close to an ounce as possible without going over.

Things you can send include pages from letter pads, loose stationary sheets, letter sets, decorated envelopes.

If you send envelopes they need to be hand made or decorated. Do not send just plain white or single colored envelopes.

Do not send Kawaii or diddl. As much as I love and am obsessed with both not all people are. Also do not send stationary you printed off the internet. This needs to be store (physical or online stores) bought stationary. This is also not a shopping list page swap (the long pads you buy at michael's, dollar tree, ext). Do not fold the stationary.

Rate a 5 if you receive an envelope that weighs about an ounce and has unfolded stationary that meets the guidlines.

You need to have at least 15 rated type 2 and 3 swaps and no recent or unexplained 1's or 3's. I reserve the right to ban people at my discretion. This is a usa only swap. If people are interested I will host an international one.

Can we send other stationery items such as note cards, or stickers?

MidnightWriter 04/19/2016 #

I would say no for this swap because quality stationary is hard to find/exspensive now a days so it would be unfair if someone sent a bunch of letter writing pages and someone else sent note cards and stickers.

OK, I totally understand. Thanks for getting back so quick. Yep, it sure does seem hard these days to get pretty letter writing paper.

I found some awesome vintage stationery at the thrift stores and at Goodwill, but it is winter themed.. would this NOT be a welcome addition or would it be ok to send some. i think it was made back in the mid 80's, and has the vintage smell and the cool, yellowing "Stains of time". I know some people appreciate that but some dont, so I want to know for sure so I can send appropriate items,

I wouldn't think that would be a problem. I would leave out anything religious or specific to a holiday but if it's just winter themed that should be fine. Just don't have the majority of your swap be to a specific part of the year

I am getting this one started. I love stationery! I use to get very lucky years ago finding really cute stuff at dollar stores but not so much any more. Though I have found a few sets at thrift stores. Can't wait!

Partners still not assigned, how come? Host online on the 22nd, but the send date is still the 25th. This does not give a lot of time to get this sent out on time. Jodie

The last day to sign up was the 21st. That means I couldn't assign partners until the 22nd. I like to go through all the people to check profiles which I like to go through carefully to make sure there isn't anyone I feel might flake. But I did make sure that partners were assigned on the 22nd
