Description:

1) Make a friend out of paper. A silly version of Flat Stanley. It can be whatever character suits you - a Purple People Eater in a tutu, a lizard with a sombero, a jalapeno pepper with a stodgy tie, etc. It should be flat though for easy mailing.

2) Take pictures with it throughout your day for a week. (You might want to laminate or otherwise protect your friend for durability.)

3) Send a handwritten or typed letter (at least one page, but feel free to be very descriptive) and the pictures to your partner. Pictures can be professionally printed or printed on good copy paper and in color. Also send your "guest" so it can enjoy another location.

I am giving about a month for this so there is plenty of time to make your guest, take pictures for a week, and prepare the letter to send. But you can start on your guest and even take the pictures early.

Since this is pretty time intensive, must have a 4.98+ rating. No recent 1s or 3s. Must have a filled out profile and I will determine newbies on a combination of profile, ratings, and number of Type 2 & 3 swaps. I will also ban if I sense people who are negative or if it just doesn't feel right.

Hi! Is there a minimum number of photos to send?

magicinker 04/ 5/2016 #

Do we get our homemade friend back to resend at another point? Would the person receiving my friend take pics and send them back home?

@teadrinker - I don't like to set minimum's because I think some people only do that many, but I guess one a day at the minimum

@magicinker - no you do not get your friend back unless you and your partner work out some kind of exchange. It is a one-way swap with no reciprocation.
