Handmade coloring postcard

Just to clarify, I will be drawing, but not coloring, one postcard, which I will then send, blank in an envie, to my partner for partner to color. Is this correct?

Everything for coloring is sold with black lines on white paper, so that is what I did. I found a rather pretty, appropriate digital image that was designed for coloring...the back has the standard postcard dividing lines...I will send it inside an envelope, for my partner to color and either keep or send to a friend.

Yep guys that is the idea... Doodle some fun design with black marker on white paper. For this swap no need to color it.

I'm a little confused due to the swap requirements and the comment by retiredartgal about finding an image online. The swap states hand made coloring postcard and that digital illustration is allowed, but I took that to mean that the sender would still need to create the digital image themselves. Is this incorrect?

I took "using digital means" this way...I put the digital image on post card stock, then I added the usual post card backing design, which is another digital image that I use all the time and have saved as a photo jpeg. Then I folded the stock in half and glued the 2 sides together to form a sturdy postcard. It is not store bought.

Yes, I was just trying to get clarification from the swap host since I'm not sure what is intended. I was hoping to design and receive a card where the image is designed by the sender, but if that is not what the swap means, I will just bow out.

OK, so you need to DOODLE digitally or manually your design. Copy paste is NOT OK. You can collage different patterns that you did in the past (for an ATC or other craft). I hope this clarifies the issue above. Thanks BTW for all the interest and I hope we will all end up having fun creating...
