This swap is to help creative writers over their worst obstacle: writer's block.

Send: A setting, character, and conflict.

Example: "On a sunny day in June, Juliette Scarsdale, a quiet accountant for a large law firm, sat down to eat the gray matter of her fourth victim, sans fava beans and Chianti, as they made her pass poison wind, and she preferred Merlot."

or

Example: Small town USA, a quiet summer in 1920. Young boy, the seventh child in a large family. The voices in the young boy's head try to convince him that he can travel through time.

The idea of this swap is to get your creative juices flowing, and help other writers do the same, without having a large financial outlay.

Send your letter via snail mail--postcard, letter, etc. is fine.

It's funny, I just had a similar postcard swap idea last week ... Attack of the invisible contagious thoughtwave ... ;)

Great minds, perhaps? :-) I considered doing all the ideas I had for one swap, and having multiple partners, but I thought it might be overwhelming.
