Description:

Create a hand embroidered word patch for your partner. You can choose an inspirational word, a short quote, your partner's name or initial, or something you think your partner would cherish based on their profile. This swap is open to all skill levels. We are all at different levels of skill and can only improve by doing. Suggestion: I nearly always make two of every patch I create. One for me and one for my partner. If you are working on creating a collection for yourself, this will let you build it twice as fast.

Steps:

1. Examine your partner's profile to get some ideas for your patch.

2. Try and keep your patch smaller than 3 inches.

3. Embroider an awesome patch.

4. Make sure your patch is durable enough to withstand hand washing. It must be water proof. Any raw edges need to be blanket stitched or finished to keep the patch from fraying. Your patch should have a backing to cover your stitch work.

5. Do your best.

6. Send it off.
