This is a USA--only swap at this time, open to newbies with a filled-out and detailed profile. (A good rule of thumb is: when I open your profile page, I should have to scroll down to read it.) I do like Fall- the colors, changing leaves, sweaters and sweatshirts, quilts on the bed..! So let's celebrate this with a colorful and FUN project! DETAILS: You will have ONE partner. Decorate a small (32-count) matchbox with colors, patterns, designs of Fall - you can paint, paper, decoupage, or use any other medium you choose (Sender's Choice) to decorate it. FILL the matchbox with THREE "Mini ATCs" (these measure 1 1/8" x 1 3/4") - - size MAY be adjusted slightly, to fit into the box. Decorate your minis in colors/patterns to celebrate this colorful season! This is a TINY project, and I hope you will have a lot of FUN with it! Be sure to mail your little treasure box on time. There are some newbies who are eager to get a number after their name! any questions, please just ask or message me. And most important - have FUN with this!

thank you for bringing it to my attention, about the SIZE of these little mini cards....it may be very likely that you will have to shave off a bit more to make them fit! if that is the case, please go ahead and do so, without worry! You can let your partner here, or sending it with the swap, if you wish.

I'm sorry what is ATC? I'm sure it's obvious but today my mind has gone off and I'm lost. I love the matchbox idea but have to know what I'm to out in it lol

Thank you for writing, I'm so sorry it took so long to answer. I just got home from the hospital. My surgery recovery is taken a little longer to bounce backdrop,. I do hope you're hsving a good week.

These are "mini-ATCs"....a normal atc Is an Artist Trading card, 2.5" X 3.5", on sturdy backing, (a cut-up cereal box works great!). Made and then traded, or collected, to be shared, never sold, of a design or focus that reflects either the theme, or just whatever an artist hopes to convey.

tHis swap uses the little 32-count matchbox, AND a tiny card, or ATC to fit inside.. So these will be about 1 3/4" by 1 1/8", decorated Ina Fall theme, or colors, however you choose.

tHe little matchbox is also decorated, either in a similar way/color, or different. Your choice.

Most of all, I hope you have FUN with these little treasure-chests"

I have been in the hospital, and am still recovering from surgery, so am going to move the mailing deadline ahead a bit, since I'm not bouncing back quite as quickly as I'd hoped.

Astro mailing them, I've wrapped mine in some bubble wrap, then put them inside another padded envie, and that's been pretty good...

Anyone else? What has worked for you? (Or what has NOT worked for anyone?)

Thank you so much for letting me know...I had messed up on the dates, with both deadlines on the SAME day!

I just got out of the hospital, and have had to move the dates back on several of my swaps...

So sorry if it confused you. I hope you have a lot of fun with this swap!

I hope you are feeling better! One question - where would you suggest getting these matchboxes? My family usually buys matches in bulk, so I just assumed matches came in big boxes or little fold-over packets! :)

You should be able to find them in a grocery store, or Walmart has them, also. Hope that helps, good luck!
