Well, this may be too much of an elaborate swap, but I hope some people are interested anyway, and if not I have plenty more ideas to come! Basically, your rodent/s will keep a journal for four weeks. They can write about their day, connections with furry family members/ non-furry family members etc. If you have more than one rodent you can let them all write a few entries. It doesn't have to be in a book, it could be just a series of cute A4 papers, or typed papers etc. On top of this, once your journal is done (you don't have to do it every day, but just remember that your partner will want to receive some decent stuff to read!) ; then you add some treats and small toys to the package, taking into account the rodents your partner has (comments left here for this please - like I say, you may use more than one rodent, but its all going to be one package, one journal etc, and most treats etc are for all small animals anyway), up to the value of about say three treat things and one toy. I really hope you like this swap, I know it could be pricey and its a lot of work, etc etc etc, but I quite liked the idea myself. So I hope you do too. You'll have six weeks, so you could have a week before and a week after to get things together aside from your period of journalling.

Well, my rodent family consists of two rabbits and a Dwarf hamster, who you can see as the swap logo! That's Tilly-Claire and the bunnies are Hannah and Louise. They are all mouthy little things and so will all have plenty to say in their journals.

Forgot to mention, you could start your journal anytime now if you want.

And please mention your diet specifics here for treats, as in jayven's petpal swap.

My rabbits will eat anything, except mineral lick things; and my hammie is fussy - she likes cranberrie or honey flavoured things, egg biscuits, fruit crisp thingies... She's up for trying new stuff though.

I love this idea!

We are moving house so I think Mina's journal will be interesting and perhaps will help her cope with the stress of moving.

Mina is a dwarf lop (rabbit) and she loves natural treats with dried fruit, herbs, flowers or popcorn. she also loves anything she can gnaw like sticks, willow balls, cardboard etc

I started my journal tonight. I am having so much fun!! Hammy and bunny voices are so SWEET!!

And I get to write about my hammies birthday! Yay!

I hope more people sing up, but if not, I'm still enjoying myself! Its a good thing when you make a swap you dont want to send, right? LOL!
